Appearance and Needs of the Morkie

Size: 6-12 pounds
Color: Black and Tan, Tan, White, Cream, Black
Coat: Long, Silky and Straight, sometimes wavy
Activity: Morkie puppies for sale in PA are a great breed for apartment living. Although they do have a nice amount of energy, they are able to move around easily in small places which makes the well suited to remaining indoors.  If a yard is available, they will enjoy playing in it or taking leisurely walks, however, they don’t need excessive exercise.
Grooming: For longer coats, daily brushing is needed but for shorter coats, regular clipping is recommended every 4-6 weeks.  Keep nails trimmed and also make sure to keep ears clean and free of hair.
Shedding: Maltese and Yorkies are both little to non shedders so Morkies don’t shed and are typically good for people with allergies.
Life Expectancy: 12-15 years
