Puppy Buying Process

You may ask, “How does the process work?” We want to give you some information on that! There are many options, depending on the puppy you’re interested in, as well as when you’re ready. Most puppies can go home the same day. If you find your perfect puppy when you aren’t quite ready, we’re happy to hold the puppy for you with a deposit.  We do not ship puppies, however, we are willing to personally deliver a puppy. This way your puppy has good, personal care right to your front door, instead of being on a stressful plane by themselves!  We are very good at matching up our pups with the right family for them.  We do reserve the right to be choosy about who are puppies go to, however.

Our Guarantee

Ridgewood puppies go home with a Lifetime Guarantee, not just the mandatory Pennsylvania Puppy Lemon Law (only good for thirty days). Since we are very confident in the health of our puppies, we feel that 30 days is not enough. So, we thought, why not add on a longer warranty that is unique to our puppies? For the first 30 days our pups are covered under the Pennsylvania Puppy Lemon Law, after which we’ve added a pro-rated replacement plan.

Ridgewood puppies also go home with 2 preventative de-wormers and all of their puppy shots completed. They also have their rabies and booster shot if they are of age. Our partner breeders are all one family.  We partnered up with our breeders over 40 years ago, so we are able to carry a lifetime warranty. We see the puppies as they’re being raised, we spend time with them, we know the parents, as well as their owners, who are wonderful people. The kennels are all licensed and inspected, both on the state level and federally. Also, ALL of our puppies for sale in PA are USDA approved, not “private breeder” puppies. In addition, they all participate in the ACA Five Star Breeder Achievement Program.

Ridgewood Puppy After Care

We carry a wide variety of high quality dog, and also cat foods. We offer a nice selection of grooming accessories, toys, bedding, treats, toys, and health products in both locations. In addition, one of our goals when putting a puppy in a forever home is to make sure our relationship doesn’t end with the sale. So we have an entire training library with information to help you along the way in training a new puppy.

We are happy to help with training advice at anytime. Training, more than anything determines a puppy’s personality. So it’s very important to us to help you raise your puppy into the adult you are hoping for! We help with potty training, behavior training, and also fun stuff like agility, tricks, etc!  Customer often have questions on other things too.  Scheduling, introducing a puppy to other pets, allergies, we’re happy to help with it all!
