Height and Weight: 7-11 inches and 8-15 pounds

Activity: Shih Tzu will benefit from daily exercise, however are fine for apartment living or having no yard to play.  They are sensitive to extreme heat, so must have rest time if they tend to want to play a lot.
Grooming: Daily brushing is required to prevent matting in coats kept long, or regular clippings, every 4-6 weeks recommended.  Keep nails trimmed and also ears free of hair.  It is important to keep any facial wrinkles clean of tears.
Shedding: Little to no shedding, ideal for people with allergies.
Life Expectancy: 13-16 years
