Appearance & Needs of the Shorkie

Size: 8-15 pounds
Color: Varying Colors
Coat: Long, Silky, Straight
Activity: Shorkies are a great breed for apartment living and to be a lapdog.  But they are capable of keeping up with an active family too, and will enjoy outdoor playtime.
Grooming: For long hair, keep brushed daily.  Keep ears clean and free of hair.  For short hair, it is recommended to have clipped every 4-6 weeks.
Shedding: Yorkies and Shih Tzu are both non-shedding, so Shorkies will not shed and they are good for people who suffer from allergies.
Life Expectancy: 12-15 years
