Appearance and Needs of the Yorkichon

Size: 8-14 pounds
Color: Most commonly Tan, Black and Tan, White, Black
Coat: Long, Thick, Straight or Wavy
Activity: Yorkichons will enjoy a nice amount of activity.  They will benefit from going on walks, outdoor playtime, or also being allowed to play indoors.
Grooming: For long hair, brush daily.  Keep ears clean and free of hair as well as nails trimmed short.  For short hair, regular clips are recommended every 4-6 weeks.
Shedding: Neither Yorkies nor Bichons shed, therefore the Yorkichon is a non-shedding dog.  Therefore this breed does very well for people who have allergies.
Life Expectancy: 12-15 years
