Appearance & Needs of the Cava Tzu

Size: 12-18 pounds
Color: Varying Colors
Coat: Long, Straight, sometimes with a slight wave
Activity: Cava Tzu puppies enjoy playtime, but are not an overly active breed.  They are well suited to apartment or condo living.
Grooming: If kept long, daily brushing is needed. If kept short, regular cuts are recommended every 6-8 weeks. Also keep nails trimmed and ears cleaned.
Shedding: Shih Tzu are non-shedding, while Cavaliers do shed. Therefore Cava Tzu puppies can shed slightly or may be non shedding. Recommended for someone looking for a low shedding dog but not recommended if there are severe allergy sufferers in the home.
Life Expectancy: 12-15 years
