Appearance & Needs of the Havachon

Size: 8-15 pounds
Color: Varying Colors
Coat: Long, Thick, Straight or possibly Curly
Activity: Havachons will benefit from a nice amount of playtime, although regular, hard exercise is not a requirement.  They are an ideal breed for apartment as well as condo living.
Grooming: Due to matting, longer hair should be brushed regularly.  For shorter coats, regular trimming is recommended every 4-6 weeks.
Shedding: Havanese and Bichons both shed little to no hair, therefore the Havachon is a non shedding breed.  Very good for people who suffer from allergies.
Life Expectancy: 12-15 years
